My searching didn't find anything for Omega's Lunar Crush for BS3. Is there a yeast update that includes the thiolized strains?
 
There is an add on for Omega yeast but it doesn't include Lunar Crush. You can add it yourself by going to: Ingredients/Yeast then clicking on Add Yeast. This will open a window where you can enter the yeast name and various aspects that can be found on the Omega web site.

I would think this is something Beersmith should be doing. As suppliers come up with new strains, they should be able to submit them to BS and have them added.
 
Some suppliers do contact us and do provide updates, but unfortunately its not universal. I do try to go through every year or so and capture new yeast strains, hops and others, but its impossible to keep up with every supplier all the time.

@BeerSmith is it possible for users to submit profiles for yeast, fermentable, etc. to you for inclusion in the product or to some kind of repository here? I guess even a forum would do. Just someplace someone could put the exported profiles for others to import. I am, of course, assuming that you can export and import the different profiles.

Absolutely - I regularly publish add-ons from various manufacturers and even some users so if you have an update or set of ingredients for a particular supplier just contact me by email at beersmith at beersmith.com
