If I simply take the method used for bottling ( add priming sugar to bottling bucket) and purge cans w co2 can I then add my beer and let it condition in the can or does the beer need to be force carbonated?
You can can condition just like bottle condition. Your can can have the same problems too. Search can condition fat tire and you will be rewarded with lots fo referenced to fat tire being can conditioned. One big issue with homebrew can conditioned beer would be all the goop that settled to the bottom could easily end up in the glass since you can't see it. good luck.
