I've updated the main BeerSmith web site as well as the blog with a modern responsive design - hopefully you will like it! I'm slowly working through upgrading all of the remaining pages on the site.

Also today (12 July) I was forced to roll back the forum database a few days after a failed forum update. I do apologize as a handful of forum posts were lost. I've done forum upgrades in the past with no problems, but for some reason this one created serious database issues. I will be doing future forum updates on a test database and file system from now on.

If you created a new account in the last few days or posted a question, you may need to recreate it. I've moved to nightly backups to prevent this in the future.

Cheers,
Brad

After a few trials on a test site I finally got the forum upgraded to the latest Xenforo version and also initiated a nightly backup of the forum.

This should mitigate any data issues with the forum going forward.

Thank you, Brad, for all you do. I know it isn't easy to maintain a software package, web site and forum these days with all the attacks, bot posts, etc. I love BeerSmith and truly appreciate all the effort that goes into it.

Thanks!
The server upgrade and site redesign turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated. I'm planning a server migration for the main recipe site as well in the near future to ensure the long term stability of the systems, as well as upcoming software releases. Busy summer!
