How to edit an existing BeerSmith ingedient

How do you edit a BeerSmith ingredient. I'd like to add my custom usage comment (example: when to add a specific item, chemical, clarifier, etc.) Thanks.

From the Ingredients menu, select the appropriate category (Hops, Fermentables, Yeast, Miscellaneous or Water. Either scroll through to the product you want to edit or type it into the search box. Double click on the item and a window with available options will pop up.

I like to make a copy of the ingredient and make my edits on the copy leaving the original untouched.
