Hello all
i want to co pitch two different yeast - 1 is a dry yeast with a high tolerance of abv and the second is a liquid with a lower tolerance of abv. I want to make a starter using both yeast. When calculating the final abv the software seems to always look at the lower value when i have both yeast listed in the grain bill. If I were pitching the dry yeast by itself - i would need 4 packs. i can create a starter in the real world with one pack and get the same cell count if i were to use 4 packs. also in the starter i wish to add the liquid yeast. is there a way to do this in BeerSmith other than making up a faux yeast
