Hey folks - Anyone have a good Partial Mash recipe for a Blonde Sage?  I'm looking for something in the 6%abv range and about 2-5 SRM.  Thanks

I brewed a blonde ale from Brewing Classic Styles at around 5.5% ABV.  I added 1oz or 28 grams of Sage at 15 minutes.  I used Saaz hops for base bittering.  I can't recall the exact amount but it was close to 20 IBU but 17 is stuck in my head.  I liked the beer but if I did it again, I would use less sage maybe 3/4oz or about 21 grams.

Jomebrew-

Is that dry weight for the sage?  I have some massive sage plants in my herb garden.  Might be interesting to try.  Any special treatment for the sage?

Yea, that was dry.  we picked it up at whole foods I think.

If I did it again, I would also add 1/2 amarillo at 15 or flameout.  I missed some hop character.

When it aged (4 or 5 months), the sage dropped out a lot.
