Mash Filter - help
« on: April 01, 2005, 11:41:21 PM »
I am building a mash tun using a 32 litre cool box.

I have built a copper filter for the bottom using 22mm pipe.

I need some advice on the hole size for the best filtration, so it does not clog up and alows the liquid through.

a) Should I drill holes, if so what diameter and spacing apart?
b) Could i just cut groves with a hacksaw and if so how far apart?

Andy ideas.
