On my next beer I plan on making an Oatmeal Stout(extract with grains)
I like to make a tea with the grains and add it to mixture. Would it be ok to steep my oats with the other grains at 155 degrees for 30 minutes(1 lb oats) ? Also, would regular grocery store oats work and do I need to crush oats.
