The batch in question was brewed on 12-12-2009 and was kegged two weeks later.

Thanks for the input. We are starting again tomorrow and will be extremely diligent in our santization process.

WOW~!!  Well, unless it's a limbic it's had plenty of time to straighten out.

Which of course raises the question: Has your brewery been infected with wild yeasts?

As an aside ( or not aside at all) There are wild yeasts  that can survoce two ( count 'em ) Autoclave cycles.

Might I suggest that you clean you gear with a  round house of  sanitizers starting with
Purisan - peracetic acid sanitizer
Excel - highly alkaline circulation cleaner
BSR - acid for removing scale and buildup in tanks
I-O Safe - iodine-based sanitizer
Lustre - chlorinated caustic for cleaning
Use longer soaks than normal & a rinse in between.

Or in the absence of those try
2 gallons water with 1 ounce of vinegar and 1 ounce of chlorox (Chuck Talley says  this should be 5 gallons)
Star San - mixed a little strong
Vinegar - straight from the bottle
Longer soaks & rinsing in between

And take a propane torch to all your welds and joints.  Heat 'em up past  300F.  No need to make 'em glow  - that might be bad for the ChromeOxide layer.

As an aside:
You can restore the Chrome Oxide layer on SST with a citrus acid soak any temp any time any titration ( so long as it's strong).  You can  even use lemon juice straight from the bottle so long as you apply a little heat.
