Greetings
Am simply looking for any red flag issues with what I am about to do.
I made a 2L starter with harvested yeast last evening. It is happily spinning on my stir plate. I was planning on brewing a Cream Ale with it. As I am short of rice hulls I do not want to experience a stuck sparge again.
So I am changing my beer to an IPA. It calls for a 3.5L starter.
Could I simply boil up, cool and add a 1.5L starter to my already 2L starter not yet finished.
I have over 24 hours before I pitch.
