I am doing a Czech Pils this weekend 20litres.

I actually have 3 packets of Wyeast Czech Pils, this should be sufficient?  or would a starter be better for the wort?

Pitching rate will vary depending on OG. Yeast looses viability as it ages, so the age of the packets needs to be considered as well. Enter the pertinent information into the calculator on the starter tab and the calculations will be done for you. It will give you an estimate of the packet cell count based on age, tell you the cell count needed for the beer as well as how many packets or what size starter is needed .

What he said.

Whats the date on the packs, whats the og.

without that info nobody can give you an answer.
