Please double check the back sweetening logic in BS3.
I wanted to slightly back sweeten a mead that fermented lower than water. Entered correct values into BS3 and followed BS3 recommendations on the amount of table sugar. Killed off the yeast, chilled the mead and carefully stirred in the amount of table sugar (mixed in water to thoroughly mix) into the mead. Let mead sit for a few months and then bottled.
Mead sat since around Christmas in bottles. Tried one yesterday. At this point mead is over 1 1/2 years old. Too sweet.
Thanks.
