Need help in the preparation of water
« on: January 29, 2019, 03:18:18 PM »
I have such a water profile (in attachment)
And I want to make such a preparation of the water ( also in the attachment)
To prepare an American pale ale, with a rich taste and aroma of hops (7 grams per liter for dry hopping). And moderate bitterness (25 IBU)
Am I doing the right thing.

Thanks in advance!

looks like you've added extra CaCl over what the program would recommend for a bitter profile. I get slightly different results when trying to hit a the profile via the program. This will target the sulfate/chloride levels a bit to provide a more bitter taste.
32g eHERMS
Drinking: Dopplebock, NEIPA, Pils
Primary: empty
Secondary/Lagering:
Next Brew: RIS
