BeerSmith3.Exe - Bad Image

I have Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit.

After installing and trying to run the application, even after restarting and uninstalling and reinstalling it several times, I get the following error:

C:\Windows\WinSxs\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt.1f......\MSVCP90.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system admin or the software vendor for support.

Any help would be appreciated.

Lookup using the following command in both normal booted windows and booted in safe mode (repeated tap F8 key when powering on the PC).
sfc /scannow
