Hello a pleasure to greet you. I'm Juan Pablo from Argentina.
I have a brewery in Villa Gesell, a city by the sea 360 km south of Buenos Aires. It's called The Old Hobbit
Do you know if there is a BeerSmith version in Spanish?
I also wanted to know why the program puts so many decimals when it is in a metric system. It is a bit unbearable that after the point put 6 decimals. Can it be set up from somewhere? Otherwise the software seems great.

Welcome Juan Pablo. On the BeerSmith download page ( http://beersmith.com/download-beersmith/ ) about halfway down the page is a section titled "Non-English Versions and Files". There is a Spanish Lang.xml fie that you can download, and there are some instruction on what to do with it. I don't know exactly what that file does. If you have problems or more questions, there is a portion of the forum dedicated to translating BeerSmith and you might find help there.

Regarding the number of decimal places, that can be set by going to Options->Units and selecting the precision.

I can not solve the problem with decimals and it is very annoying. Six decimals is crazy. For what?

Hello Juan. Be interested to see what you come up with, down there. Keep us up on what you're brewing!

Afortunadamente actualmente hay muchos Homebrewer y muchas peque?as cervecer?as.

It will be a joy to receive your visit when you come to Mar del Plata and go through Villa Gesell. Villa Gesell is 100 km from Mar del Plata, about an hour and a half by car.
At this time there is a huge growth of craft beer in Argentina. I started making beer in 2002, and craft breweries were many less. Fortunately, there are currently many Homebrewer and many small breweries. Those who know say that the phenomenon of craft beer has a delay of 10 years in Argentina with respect to the US. This means that here is happening what happened 10 years ago in the USA. In our market, craft beer represents 2% of the beer market. About 30 years ago beer was only taken in summer, and the most consumed drink was table wine (common and cheap). Then the wine was largely replaced by lager beer that began to be drunk during the whole year. Argentines begin to take less wine but of better quality.
The leading beer brand in Argentina is called Quilmes, the company is more than 100 years old. The old people say that it was once very good, they currently make a very light beer with 40% rice. This beer is similar to a BUDWEISER.
With the emergence of Craft Beer in Argentina, at first everything was very rustic. At first the brewpus and the homebrewers made something similar to the dirty water of a puddle, and not beer. Even in those years it was very difficult to find supplies. The malt was stolen from Quilmes and then sold to the homebrewers. They were low modification malt. The special malts were made by the home brewers as they could be cooked a little in the oven in their kitchen, while the wife grumbled.
Today, fortunately, there are all the inputs that you may want, both domestic and imported. We always have new things to learn, but luckily we have improved a lot. Quilmes makes another beer similar to the craft with the name of Patagonia. The great giant trembles before an army of potbellied Homebrewers
