OK,
 I'll kick this one off...

I've tried for years, but I've never been able to create a well balanced Cherry Ale -- it is one of the only styles I like that has totally eluded me.

Anyone out there have the secret?  I've tried cherry extract, cherry puree, and cherries, but they have all left me wanting.  I've tried wheats and ales....

Help me!

Hi Brad,
Not sure if you are still looking for a cherry recipie or not. I haven't made a cherry beer yet, but remember two recepies in Charlie Papazian's book and both use sour cherries. One was called cherries in the snow. Do you have a favorite commercial cherry beer you like?
