no import wizard

My computer died, trying to reinstall on new one. Downloaded, installed, registered Beersmith 2.13.12. I have my Beersmith data files on an external hard drive. Go to File menu looking for import, there is nothing there except import from 1.4. What do I do?
 
Greetings Ilovebeer - assuming you're on a Windows PC, make sure your data files are in the My Documents file folder.  That's it. No import required.  Simply copy and paste.  I can't help if you're on am Apple or other platform.
 
Thanks. I deleted the original "Beersmith2" folder in Documents and copied my old one into it, that worked. I wonder why the Beersmith Help has not been updated with this information.
