Converting from LME to DME
« on: April 09, 2017, 07:05:44 PM »
Hi folks,

I just saw a nice recipe for a Bell's Two Hearted IPA clone on the Beersmith cloud.
However, it calls for Liquid malt extract, and I prefer the dry form.

I know the software allows for the conversion of all grain-to-extract; can you use it to convert from liquid to dry extract?

Yes.  Just click on the LME to highlight it.  They click on substitute.  It will bring up the list of ingredients.  Choose the DME that you want to use and it will change it to DME and adjust the amount to get the correct gravity.

 Red IPA
 ESB
 Saison Solera
Dubel (Aged in Malbec Wine Barrel
