Has anyone noticed that the Castle Malting EBC/SRM readings in Beer Smith conflict with the Castle Malting website?

eg Cara Clair has a EBC of 8 or 4.06 on their website but in Beer Smith it's 2.5

I'm guessed i just have to individually adjust every spec in Beer Smith.

Geeetings nods11 - that's correct.  Malts, much like hops, change slightly from season to season.  Rain, sun and Mother Nature sees to it that no two crops are identical in every aspect.  The numbers (stats) in BS can be changed to suite your needs and to fine tune the ingredients used in your recipe.

Just to add to KellerBrauer's statement, I update the specifications for my base malts every time I open a new bag to match the lot analysis I get from the maltster.
