After a lot of reading and researching I have finally built my herms vessel. A test run using water revealed a temp diference of 2° celcius between the herms water temp and the wort outlet temp in the mash tun manifold and that was with uninsulated hosing.

The herms vessel is a 10 lt pot with 3 mt of copper pipe and a 2200watt kettle element and is controlled using a PID controller.
If any Herms brewers out there would like to comment or suggest some changes that would be appreciated, I have yet to brew with the new system and would like to ensure as few problems on brewday as possible :D.

Cheers
Andrew
