License question

A quick question before I decide to buy:

Your FAQ says that I can install BS2 on two different computers (Mac or PC). However, it's not 100% clear whether or not the computers can have different OS-es. I have one Linux PC and one Windows laptop - can I install on both these machines?

Works fine for me with a copy on Windows and another on OS X, with data shared via Dropbox.
