yeast cake

I have some yeast cake from WL 0029 yeast and it is vary compact, the most compact yeast cake I have ever seen. my question is how hard can I shake it up with out harming the yeast? dose shaking yeast harm them or not?

Never shake a baby!  Yeast cake though, I frikken shake the heck out of it when I'm harvesting it.  I doubt them get bruised or dizzzy.

You probably don't remember that song, unless your around mid-fifties  or older in age....

Wow.  That brought back memories of disco, bell bottoms, silk shirts, and leasure suits.  I graduated from high school in 1977, right at the peak of all of that.
